Gone Fishing
…..This state of affairs could have gone on for ever whilst Kevin grew up. Although his parents had no interest in his future and little in his well being Kevin was thought by some to have grown into a good lad. Unlike other teenagers bent on causing mayhem Kevin was happy to spend Saturday nights leaning over the pier railings throwing beer cans at sleeping sea gulls. Long since he had reduced conversation to three responses: “Whoops, Nice one and 'Blimey.” These he found covered all eventualities and saved the trouble of using sentences.
