During the night someone had abandoned an old BMW in one of the far corners of the car park near the bottom of the estate. To the boys, it seemed like a dream come true. They eagerly began making plans to fix it themselves and somehow keep it until they were old enough to drive it. They’d seen loads of older boys who lived on the estate fixing up BMWs they’d either found abandoned or had stolen.
